Budget Code Request Details

Purpose
The
Budget Code Request Details form allows users to view complete information about Payroll Budget Code Request Staff Actions.
This includes “before” and “after” values of data fields, so users can see what actually changed as a result of the Staff Action.
This is a view-only form.
Accessing the Form
Perform a search on the
Staff Action Workflow Management form and click the Requested Date link in the Search Results.
Sample
The
Budget Code Request Details form will display. More information is below the image.
Click the
Back link at the top right side of the page to return to the Staff Action Workflow Management form.
If the Status of the request is
Submitted, click
Complete to indicate that the request has been completed, or click Cancel to cancel the request.
Data Fields
Employee Name and SSN display on the top right-hand side of the form. SSN displays as
***-**-**** by default, but you may click the SSN to toggle to the last 4 digits or full SSN.
Staff Action Details includes high-level information about the Staff Action request selected. The following Staff Action data fields are included in this section:
- Status (Submitted, Cancelled, or Completed)
- Request Type
- Requester (Name of person who requested the Staff Action)
- Request Date
- Approver (Name of person who approved the request)
- Processed Date
- Effective Date
- Include on Board Report
- Board Report Date
- Staff Action Notes
Position Information includes the following information about the employee’s position assignment:
- Primary Position Number
- Primary Position Description
- Primary Site
- Payment Method
View Employee Assignment Details links you to the View Employee Assignment Details form. This will enable you to check the employee’s assignment information to determine whether this request has been posted in Payroll.
Budget Code Information displays all the “before” and “after” information about the budget code request.
“Before” values will be displayed in the ‘Current Budget Code’ column; “after” values will be displayed in the ‘Proposed Budget Code’ column.
- A Budget Code Change request displays both “before” and “after” values
- A Budget Code Add request displays only the “after” values
- A Budget Code Delete request displays only the “before” values
All values in the ‘Proposed Budget Code’ column that changed as a result of this Staff Action will be highlighted in yellow text.

- Budget Code
- Payroll Sequence #
- Pay Table
- Grade
- Step
- Dollar Amount
- Pay Frequency (M = Monthly; get other values)
- Months
- Percent Employed
- Updated By (UserID)
- Updated At (Date)
